We are Christians striving to seek first the Kingdom of God, and proclaim the Gospel of His Kingdom. We want to provide our community and anyone else we can reach with encouraging and thought-provoking content to help grow and maintain our Kingdom perspective and mindset.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells and empowers all believers for the common good of the body. To each believer is given a manifestation of the Spirit so that the entire body might be edified (1 Corinthians 12:7). Part of that edification comes from discussion among believers. When we reveal what is on our hearts and minds, we may encourage others, painting a clearer picture of the Gospel than they saw before. On the other hand, the sharing of our heart may provide an opportunity for another believer to direct us to a better understanding of the Gospel ourselves. We hope that this blog will help serve us all in these ways. We will rely on Spirit-filled believers to “weigh what is said” (1 Corinthians 14:29) so that we all receive the most benefit. We bring out each others’ hearts by sharing our own.

Please comment, disagree, discuss, ask questions, etc. Most importantly, share the good news of God’s Kingdom with those around you.

Maranatha – (Aramaic: מרנאתא) A powerful phrase that was used as a greeting in the early church. It may be used as a declaration that “Our Lord, Jesus, HAS come”, or as a plea for Jesus to return as in 1 Corinthians 16:22 – “Our Lord, come!”
